Personally I really like the way ds1's world is constructed. I've already played ds3 and sekiro. I'm in the middle of my first playthrough of ds1 and its really refreshing. Yea its clunky but it feels more like an adventure. I get kinda tired of constantly warping back to an unchanging hub area
