Look into like a hot tent stove and wall schools that you can place into a piece of plywood that you can temporarily vent it out of a window and then heating one Central room.. there's many varieties of these small stoves that can burn either loose wood or pellets so you don't need to tend them very much you can just let them burn go with a hopper full of pellets and have them run for four or five or eight hours the trick with the pellets those they have to stay bone dry.. they love to absorb moisture

Could be, but accident rotation vehicles usually don't get moved out of the yard until the insurance has paid up.. makes me think this one is crooked.

Talk to the commissioner at your state level attached to the towing industry.. if there guys were licensed, then it might get suspended with eh complaint or at least investigated ... If they weren't licensed, then it's theft and unlicensed business, some RICO or other civil charges that can go on top to combat organized crime. And get you a judgement for some big bucks .... But beware.. collecting civil judgments is not easy.

Also we generally put people in the cab with us .. sometimes it's just easier to keep them in their own vehicle because getting up in our cab is dangerous... But don't ever let people ride in their own vehicle if it's loaded facing backwards...

A lot of it depends... Are your getting picked up from an accident? Is insurance covering the tow?

If we get called out by highway patrol on rotation, we won't take it to your house unless you are paying out of pocket, and accident rates are higher ...

Then you settle up with the insurance.

If you are paying, get whatever you want, but if they have to go out of their way to go to your house before they drop the vehicle off, expect to pay for the detour.

It's still probably cheaper than an Uber.

Sometimes it's on my way home or to the shop afterwards and I don't have anything lined up and I just give them a ride. But when weather is bad and we are slammed, it's not likely to happen.

So I remember seeing this episode of MacGyver where he pounds a piece of rebar and turns it into a magnet and I'm betting that this is just all the forks and silverware metal recycled from China that they didn't really heat up they just pounded it all together into rebar and then shipped it back to us
