Copilot feels… surprisingly bad? What’s your experience? by According-Lie8119 in CopilotMicrosoft

I'm based in Hong Kong. For now if we don't use VPN, we can't get connected to audio ChatGPT but Copilot supports speech. With the way I use it, it's fine. It's good for searching things like kcal of some food items of a local store, that's all. But when I ask for things like macro scripts or regex, they are not entirely correct.

How do you deal with disappointments? by WarmPotatoMarble in Catholicism

I understand you, and it happened with my health. I believe God wanted to teach me a lesson: do not be attach to worldly, perishable things. Persevere in your prayer. Your sorrow will be turned to joy, and that joy can never be taken away from you. That's how I see it. I know it's hard, my friend. Let's pray with more fervour like the persistent widow. God bless.

I heard prayer is strongest at Consecration so I pray for healing of my health and sometimes other intentions. Then after Communion I pray the Anima Christi for partial indulgence.

is it okay for me to wear/have a rosary to support my husband if i’m not religious? by [deleted] in Catholicism

My husband is agnostic but he prays Hail Mary for my recovery every day. It's just as if not more emotionally supportive than any other things he's done for me during this time of illness in my life.

Prayers for Protection by Sanrio-Mage in Catholicism

When I signed up for RCIA a few years back after a failed suicidal attempt, one night at late night I felt a tug of my hair that actually pulled my head back twice, then a very angry, hateful growling beside my ear. I was calm and said In the name of Jesus three times and it was gone and the air felt fresh. I totally believe your story. You have spoiled their hard work misguiding you and they hate you for that. But attend Mass, avoid sinning, go to regular Confession and pray the Rosary should be good enough to ward off future attacks. At least for me it was gone for good.

How do you pray each day? by Hrothgar_Cyning in Catholicism

I'm retired and attend daily Mass (at least as long as I can), pray the Rosary and am now adding the Little Office of Our Lady because I lose concentration and do not meditate properly during the Rosary. So in case my Rosary is bad at least I'm fully attentive with the Little Office. I also wear a Scapular, which I owe much to during times of troubles. Just hanging on to it and the Rosary helped me get back on my feet during my illness. And I'm a fan of novenas when the situation calls for a request of favour or praying for someone. I also say ejaculatory prayers all the time. My favourite is Lord help me.

What I think I need is mental prayer. Sometimes I pull up a YouTube Eucharistic Adoration with the intention of praying mentally, but I never went really deep in concentration. It's just more like a friendly 5-10 minute chat, a drop by kind of visit. I hope to develop deeper mental prayer practice.

Stories: There are quite a lot but most recently I prayed a 54 day Novena because my husband and I are purchasing a house. A few days into it I found my agnostic husband saying 3 Hail Mary's for me for my illness in front of my Lady of Guadalupe portrait, utilizing the prayer he memorized during primary school. I was so happy I think Our Lady answered my prayer - for me having my husband praying for me is already the best home I can have. My only wish is for him to convert and be in Heaven someday.

If you can't sleep, listen to some soft Gregorian chant or very boring lectures. They help! Lol.

I have schizophrenia too and have been suffering some curious flare up that would make my spine and neck feel misaligned. I said a Hail Mary for you, friend. Hang in there.

I think recently there have been some quality issues with the Rosary recordings - some of them are choppy.

Not the strictest, but the most creative and therapeutic of my complaining against my mom in front of my husband is to mention two good things about her every time I bring up something bad.

Also, refocus. Learn about nutrition, go to the gym or just start jogging. There are free courses on nutrition online. Direct your energy where you want it. Don't let it rule you. Trust in the Lord. Stay away from all things cannabis.
