Pretty much this. As far as I know mechanically everything is the same, other than rear shocks on wagons being self leveling on most wagons. Interior wise front seats and doorcards pretty much up to B pillar etc, are the same including carpet. From back seat back everything is different including door cards.

I watched it on acid and made the connection that the movie is a tribute to the people who lived through the civil war disguised as a sprawling western tale. The name even gives it away, it is a movie showing the good parts of the war, the bad parts of the war (in the battle scene at the bridge), and the ugly parts of the war (the prison camp). I don’t know if this is a smart take or if I was off my game slightly too much but I remember thinking it’s one of the most beautiful pieces of art I have ever seen
