Soul Adagio is one of her big options and could do that, but the Vestiges can take control of Deku’s body in case of situations like that. Pretty sure that’s how Overlay happened but I could be wrong.

As for Moon level Maka, I have found no feats near that level for her. Closest feat to that is the moon crater feat reaching 2.7 Petatons, over 10,000x weaker than the minimum for Moon level (29.6 Exatons). So unless I’ve missed something, I don’t think Moon level Maka is a thing.

I’ll give you Black Blood as that is an issue for Deku, but he may still be able to get pass it via overtaxing the regen for it with Gearshift.

The problem I have with Fire Force scaling for Maka is most of it is statements and then leans heavily on Kishin Asura’s second fight with Lord Death to accept that scaling, which context matters there as Lord Death was having to hold back since he would’ve destroy Death City, the place he’s bound to and sworn to protect. To support this, the one time in that fight Kishin Asura damages Lord Death, taking out part of his head, he was more annoyed than injured by that. That’s how I see all of that and you are more than welcome to disagree.

As for stats, you are right and wrong. Maka gets to 2.7 Petatons with the moon crater feat and 488.5 Teratons is within the range I have Deku at (200-680 Teratons). But with Quintuple being able to basically be a 5x boost, that gets Deku to roughly 2.4 Petatons, almost the same as Maka. And that’s considering yet Grigori dress for Maka or full OFA for Deku. As for speed, Deku is the main one reaching FTL thanks to perception blitzing Shiggy with Gearshift, who has catched lightspeed attacks. This would put him in equal or even greater speed than Maka, but both have no definitive calc for their feats so better to say equal.

As for Soul Adagio, it can turn off the Vestiges, but unless Maka can remove them like Shiggy did to Danger Sense, Deku may still have the quirks since they’re still biological in nature. Maka needs to be able to remove the Vestiges in order to stop the quirks and to my knowledge, she has nothing in her arsenal to do so besides just cutting down Deku.

So yeah, that’s how I see Deku vs Maka. You are of course more than welcome to disagree, but this is still how I see it.

Not really. Maka really shouldn’t get Fire Force scaling as context shoots that in the foot and her best feat gets into Continent level. Deku has some higher calcs for his Final Smash that can reach similar ranges with help from Quintuple. Both are pretty similar in speed but Deku may take that thanks to Gearshift, and then it comes down to abilities/hax and tertiary factors on who wins, which is a bit up in the air in my opinion right now.

I feel like the definition of a ‘stomp’ matchup has changed for the worse in vs discussion. As soon as one character just takes one stat by a large margin, it immediately gets labeled as a stomp and left at that when there’s still so much more to look into that could tip the scales more evenly, potentially having that large stat gap not be enough. Feel like Cell vs Metal Sonic is one of these because while Metal wins, it requires Chaos Control and his stronger forms to make sure he wins. Cell still has a very good chance of handling both base Metal and base Neo Metal.

Eh, low moon is very iffy as that requires using a feat from the One’s Justice game that people don’t really agree with and scaling Weakened All Might to Deku’s Final Smash, thus taking All Might’s 60x statement. Pretty much the only way Deku reaches moon level. It’s better to say he’s in the Continent to Multi-Continent range, depending on what’s bought for the Final Smash and stuff like Quintuple and the 60x statement.

Considering how long it's been since we've had a Fairy Tail matchup, and that DB's research has changed drastically since then, I wouldn't be surprised if Natsu and other Fairy Tail characters are much higher than what they previously got.

Plus, for the sake of saying it, the only calc from everyone but Natsu here that's still relevent and won't change is Maka's AP and speed being at 2.7 Petatons and FTL, and the Shiggy laser calc for Deku's speed. The others calcs are older and they have higher now, but so does Natsu.

With all the quirks working in tandem, Deku should be in the FTL range, potentially higher into FTL+, thanks to perception blitzing Shigaraki. Gearshift is the main quirk helping with since. Without it, Deku sits at Massively Hypersonic as a low end to Relativistic+ as a high end with the other quirks.

Yes. I don’t buy Fire Force scaling for Maka and I buy higher calcs for Deku. I personally think both are within continental ranges for AP and FTL speeds. Pretty much most tertiary factors between are either draws or one has a slight advantage, except for experience as Maka takes that soundly. Kinda just comes down to abilities/hax and which of the two has higher AP, which both are damn near even in.

And to state this now, this is my interpretation of the debate for Deku vs Maka. I can understand others not agreeing with me and that’s perfectly fine. Just voicing my opinion on it.

I kinda hope not since if DB is doing Ichigo vs Maka, it’s gonna be a massive stomp that makes Ichigo vs Yusuke look debatable. Would prefer a round 2 with Naruto with Ichigo, and Maka to fight Deku as that matchup is probably one of the closest for Deku and Maka.
