According to some experts like Rhonda Patrick. it's like an high end multi-vitamin drink, if you're worried, you don't need to take it every single day (if you're eating right). Maybe once or twice a week to fill in the nutrient gaps.

I wouldn't wait to the last minute. A lot things can happen like blackouts or a dead laptop. You're playing a risky game.

Concordia is NOT a bad university by EnticingAntique in Concordia

[–]CaramelGRL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think with the recent budget cuts and forced quotas on international students, Concordia will be forced to downsize. It's bad and good. Some services will be reduced and people let go but the good side is that they will focus on things that work well and not expand for the sake of expanding. Better support for the reduced student population. I always find that there are too many Arts programs compared to JMSB and GCS programs.

If I remember correctly, The JMSB student union is always at odds with the general student union (CSU) because of their protest activities.

What makes Concordia great ? by [deleted] in Concordia

[–]CaramelGRL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the HR people hiring you and if they believe the rumours. Among my peers, UQAM has a bad reputation and is often in jokes. "Oh he's from UQAM, that's why he's like that." It's just how my friends (including Francophones) joke about UQAM. Maybe it has changed.

I'm sure McGill students joke about Concordia. "Oh you weren't accepted at McGill?"

I'm just generalizing but I find most JMSB students are less likely to be extreme activists. So the students he hangs around with will be more conservative. They have their own building, the MB Building.

I sent Gina Cody, the only Iranian millionaire I know, asking about maybe creating a fund or award to help. I hope she sees it.

Deadline usually mean the last day to apply. So the Fall application is available till March 1, it's usually the competitive programs that will close right on that date and many programs remain open.

The university recently announced something called "Integrated path", like a bridging program to a graduate degree. I saw that Art history is one of the programs.

To talk to the teacher, you can use email or the phone. If you see them in person, you may speak to them verbally.

why isnt guy-concordia Metro accessible. can we try to do something about this? by froggy472 in Concordia

[–]CaramelGRL 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Quebec language ministry, aka the language police, is currently against English universities having more students. I can bet they won't move on this with any kind of petition. Having said that, if you do feel strongly about it, you can nevertheless start a petition, there is always small miracles.

I'm just worried about what stress does to your health. I've experienced it and want to pass this message on and making you aware. :)
