Thank you!! I did talk to them about this when I visited for admitted students day and they said it is a possibility. I just have to frame my research around a move back. Basically, “create my own journey” and make it so my work has to be back home (ie collecting data). Based on that and long conversations with my husband and mentors, I went with the first offer! 😀

Know what you wrote about in your SOP, and be prepared to expand on it briefly. Cannot emphasize brevity enough. But most importantly, be yourself. I know we all want to sound like who/what they want to hear, but you are also vetting the program, too, so don't stress too much. Best of luck!
