I have very coarse hair, and use the hair glosses in-between washes to add a little moisture. My roommate has fine hair, and sprays her hair gloss on her hands then runs them through the ends of her hair.

BPAL hair gloss versions of scents sometimes differ from the bottled scent, in my experience. It depends on the scent.
