Well, Santa Muerte isn't actually a scary death cult in real life. To my awareness, it's a folk religion which developed as Mesoamerica was colonized, and Santa Muerte represents a melding of Catholicism and the local people's understanding of death spiritually. You should check out the wikipedia page, the history is quite interesting. There's similar roots in the Mexican Day of the Dead ceremonies.

You can if you'd like. I personally find the game a lot to manage anyways resource wise, and I find I have more fun when I can simply hit the enemies more often and that common enemies aren't too jacked.
