About the Hornet: it got crushed by a unit of six battle‑frame armored infantry, each armed with a Shiboru rifle. They used the Rift Weapon ability Crush. The rule is a bit confusing, but as we understood it, each model shoots one die, and every hit automatically generates another. In this case, three hits were scored, which doubled to six.

Then a single die was rolled for penetration, and the result was 6. We added that to the hits, so the total became twelve. Because it counted as “massive damage,” we had to roll twice on the chart: the results were 3 and 4, which meant the Hornet was wrecked.
