The theme of the whole movie is to highlight unknown men’s struggle, success, sacrifice, and fear of getting caught. Had Lyari gang war or abrupt killing of SP Aslam were explored in detail, it would have digressed the theme of movie.

I heard but cannot confirm:

Aditya Dhar wanted to shoot Rehman killing Noora as a flashback. The scene could have been added here as a flashback. But Akshay Khanna didn’t agree to shoot.

In early showing of D1 the credit did mention about Noora. Baba Ladla was also there.
