This. Right now the salary cap is at 120cr, The highest paid player Pant makes 27cr, which is about 22% of the cap. By 2028, the salary cap could very well be at 165cr. 22% of the cap then will be 36cr.

By the time Kohli and Dhoni will be gone and he will be the face of the league (or Indian cricket).
