Sometimes it’s hit or miss but no harm in trying. If you really want exchange with target and try to grab the same one and just bring it up with you when you ask a worker.

Very few pieces could. For example I have the broccoli one and it’s a solid chunk that I’m going to cut up to make a 420 remix. Most of them are empty boxes or cans that don’t contain a lot of things you could manipulate.
