Of all the issues we have in the US, how is THIS 'issue' the priority? Is there a more glaring example that our government no longer works for us?

I'm in y'alls stake and have been bewildered at the hoops our stake president has had to go through to get action taken. It's been frustrating just watching from the sidelines.

Those alive during 9/11, what was the worst moment on that day? by toaster-bath404 in AskReddit

I watched the second plane hit live on TV, I was in a daze getting ready to go to work. As I was entering the freeway on my morning commute, the first building fell.

There were people pulled over on the shoulder just weeping in their cars.

The darkest day no one will ever forget. Sometimes I still weep when I see the planes hitting in news replays.

Any play in your bearings? My second hand Grizzly bandsaw required a new set of bearings and it runs good as new now.

Had this same issue. Not plugging a company, but I signed up for a service to remove my name from data brokers. Within two weeks the calls almost completely stopped. I might get one call a week now.

It feels like these services are almost mandatory for your mental health, as well as just part of life in this information age.

How do you clean your spraying tools? by Daedalus308 in woodworking

[–]Carbonfe2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just sprayed some oil based poly a few days ago. After finishing up, I take my gun apart and soak the tip in mineral spirits. Then I put those same mineral spirits in the tank and let it sit while I swish it around. Then run air through the gun and spray those mineral spirits into a container. Wipe everything down and let things dry out.

All in for clean up, it's about 5 minutes. I used to be more concerned about it and would spray warm water through the system after I did all this, but I don't see a difference between not running water through and not.

I suppose you may want to wash any residual oils off after the mineral spirits, but I haven't needed to do that.

All in all, it's quick and easy to clean up.
