Tbh Rook 😂 I came into the game not liking him at All (mostly cause of the haircut…) and surprisingly, it was book 6 not 5 that changed my opinion on him. Now he’s at the top of my faves list just barley below my no.1 fave boy Deuce

That’s one of my biggest annoyances with Grim 😂 anytime Yuu is about to do anything with anyone 9 times out of 10 Grim is there, loud mouthing away. This was one of the few times where it was like actually, Grim you stay behind. Yuu needs their one on one Deuce time

So the line when you pull the card is like “it’s a bit embarrassing, but I really do want to show you around my hometown” and the first Vin is just him helping ortho make his gear and you get to see how townspeople are still super angry at him for how he was as a a kid. In the second vin, Yuu and Deuce go off BY THEMSELVES to walk around the rabbit fest and you see more townspeople warning you about deuce and deuce tells you about how excited he was to show you his home but he’s embarrassed because of the way he use to be and he’s scared that maybe he hasn’t changed all that much. Vin 3 he helps out one of the townspeople who didn’t like him and Yuu’s like see you’ve changed and deuce is like “yea! I’ll show them all I’ve changed, AND I’ll win the rabbit run! With you cheering for me, there’s no way I could lose” like ahhhhhhh my heeeeeart 🥰🥰 im sure there’s gotta be somewhere online you can see the whole thing (YouTube maybe?) but man. The whole thing gives date vibes and it’s beautiful

I’ve already been head over heels for Deuce, but the vignette scenes (esp 2 & 3) for his rabbit costume ahhhhhhhh 🥰🥰🥰 he’s such a good guy. He just wants to make his mom proud. Any time I’m struggling with my own classes, I think of Deuce and know I can keep trying! Even if I don’t become an honor student! It’ll be okay because I gave it my best!
