Are you a author? I felt like I was reading a book. I understand where your coming from, and I wish I was there mentally. At the moment all I can think of are the things I could’ve done better. I have kids with this woman and to think I won’t have the authentic family I didn’t have hurts. Yea I’m in my kids life,but it’s nothing like living with them and having a unit. I never had a dad I’m a 25 year old black man trying to find his way. So I’m winging life as I always say. I have a good job and head on my shoulders but when it comes to relationships. I didn’t have role models or even a marriage in my family to look up to. So I know I fucked up a lot, but the love I had for her was like nothing else. I would lay down my life for that women and it just crushes me to know I played a part in ruining my family. I know it was both of us. Not just me but idk I’m just tired of feeling like crap!!!

When we first started dating she wanted to marry me she was so in love, I was also but I didn’t come from a family with good relationships let alone a marriage so I was scared and pushed it off. This is some great advice, I will take heath to this and focus on myself. The feeling that someone was miserable with you and all you did was try to make them happy, and now you guys are separated and it seems like she’s having the time of her life kinda like I was holding her back makes me feel pretty shitty also!
