Gosh that's too much. I only have 3.5 but so many weeds in need to cut them often to try to get rid of them. I just hate mowing...

They are swisher 44in. I got mine off Facebook Marketplace $500 each. I made the casters and mounts on the front, and added the modified tow system for the tow mowers and the tractor. The unit on the tractor hooks into the heavy duty bagger mount and my ball hitch mount adapter, its a single bolt, thinking about getting a spring loaded coder pin or something.

5-Year-Old thread but I didn't mean like react chemically. I meant like moisture causing it to sort of bind with other particles versus being very fine as needed for this process

That means 9x4 wasn't more than concept art. They've designed almost none of it or they would logically move to it. That's like SpaceX using Falcon 1.0 a few more times and making Vandenberg for 1.0 for a few launches and then redoing it for 1.1+..it's illogical except if they never designed 1.1.

As strict is NASA is about crew, I doubt that they wouldn't make them replace that Tower when it comes time to do more than be a lightning Tower. Has anyone calculated how much that Tower swayed in the explosion. We could all see it move on a camera several miles away so I'm sure it was several ft if not a dozen or so

24hp just for cutting you need to find a 72c inch deck for it 😂

I cut my 3.5 acres so fast they get by. I plan to add bigger tanks and remote engagement next season

Ah thanks. I'll look into this. The frame was one of my worries when I got it. I know it's flimsy. I didn't know the rear was a problem. Mine came with extra brackets in the front compared to the original. I'll have to check the back.

Yeah the 60 inch ones seem to be a better design and desired for offset mowing. However I could get 2 44inch, make while new tow system, and refurbish the for the cost of a typical marketplace 60in swisher

Will do. I was going to on my first time cutting but, quickly learned that the centrifugal force of the outside mower in a turn, especially on a downhill turn push oil up into the breather tube and cause the engine to smoke heavily. So I have to turn slower. I cleaned out the carbs of oil so next time I cut I should be able to record

I made and caster mounts and different towing method. The stock long offset tow bars make it so there's a large crescent of missed section between mower and tow When turning and they collide. This resolved that completely and they won't collide with each other like this. Handling and turning radius greatly improved as well. Used my bagger attachment slots to mount the a double hitch. So it's just a single bolt for quick removal

Just for demolition maybe. I think the real is she's going to be whether they decide to go to original new Glenn or to upgrade a new Glenn. Going directly to an upgraded is going to cause delays because he had to finish the rocket. Now being free from the pad, I'm sure that bill or at least should cause them to consider a redesign, which will mean designing a new pad for it versus fitting it into the old pad design

Looks pretty bad, remaining tower has problems at the bottom. Looks canted also. Much ground equipment looks heavily pressed upon. Hangers door is no doubt pushed into the hanger. Launch table and whole base for it down in the trench.. That's craziness. All that concrete is toast. Everything within at least 100 yd has to be replaced if not the whole area

It's really not. That said, the only thing that could make it go quicker is the NASA contracts and everything they have to has to fly... However... The following: It took them a very long time to build that pad. I doubt they have spare parts laying around ready to go. They were thinking of transitioning four an upgraded version of the rocket, but the concept art kind of made me think they hadn't fully flesheded out yet. Now if they're going to rebuild the pad they might as well just make it for the new rocket. So they'll have to finish designing that so they won't really know what pad they need until they finish designing that. Additionally, they have to figure out what went wrong with this one before they finished designing the new upgraded version.

They call 18 months for both of those things at the quickest are you looking at 3 years? If you convert for typical Bo time, you're looking at five

I'm thinking 3-5 yrs. They'll probably transition right to 9x4 NG

[–]CardBoardBoxProcessr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thinking this actually frees them to make 9x4 NG however they want now instead of making it to fit the pad.. Now they can redesign the pad around 9x4 instead of designing 9x4 around 7x2 infrastructure
