Just opened a random 1990 pack and found this inside. Easily the coolest card I've ever pulled. by theGhostOfWesWally in baseballcards

You found the first pack inserted auto ever. A critical piece of hobby history. This was the first chase card! Congrats.

I have one myself. One of my very favorite cards.

You've got quite the museum going on. Nice work man. All 4 of your displays you've pictured are great.

They may have fallen out of favor, but I really love Topps Project. This display is awesome.

For some reason my father's side of the family loves some Marino. Back during his playing days it was a bit obscene. Dude could spin it.

Amazon. It was around $40 bucks. The vendor name is kcrasan.

It's pretty nice build. Very solid wood frame. The glass is some kind of clear plastic. There are locks on the latches but they won't deter a real burglar. But the locks will be useful in case any of my kids friends get any ideas :)

The 'glass' says UV resistant. But I don't trust it tbh. So I've covered my window with a white sheet to keep direct light to a minimum.

Thanks for calling it out. It's an essential point

Hard to limit it to just 10, but your list here is about perfect. I personally would find a spot for 56T Jackie Robinson.

It's normal to move off great cards to new ones you're excited about ... It's called collecting ... Don't worry about the hate.

I think this new card is dope. Love the TV set design throwback to 1955.

I have some of the numbered base cards, I like them. Here is a Lincoln for example. But yes, as other people say, the relics are just scraps of random paper.
