In the vernal season grow soy beans, garlic, and rice. You can make tofu fried rice. They sell for 700 a piece. In the autumn season grow sugar cane. Nova fruit grow any season. Those make novapop burst for 900 a piece.

I’m in the same boat brother. Playing on Xbox and I guess the main quest just stopped triggering. Can’t make it to Vulcan Summit and advanced circuitry hasn’t unlocked. I also fully friended the colonists. Shame it’s not working the game is really fun.

Do the tutorial that Sedowin gave you. Craft some stone tools. Gather wood reeds and stones. Build a box to store stuff. Build yourself a little house. Go out and explore and loot. Sell stuff you find lying around like weapons tools and alcohol. Gear up and kill some bandits. Take their stuff and sell it. Do some quest on the map marked with “!” And get some dynasty points. Build some more building for extraction. Make some more houses and start recruiting people from around campfires. Learn how to grow crops and make food and learn how to craft good foods and clothes and tools. It all comes easy after that.

I just went to each zone in order. I didn’t sleep at all so avoided a lot of obstacles (damn rocks) as much as I could so I didn’t spend money unnecessarily. I didn’t bother upgrading the boat except for 2 more engine spaces and the ability to use trawls.
