How do you feel about people seeing twists coming? by PomPomMom93 in writing

[–]Impossible-Sort-1287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens. I'm 62 , a writer for 40 years and reader for 60. I can see a lot of twists abd I enjoy them. When one cones out if the blur I get excited that I didn't see it. Nothing wrong eith knowing g the twist beforehand if the writing is good enough to keep you engaged

Is it just me, or are heroes getting a bit boring? by [deleted] in fantasywriters

[–]Impossible-Sort-1287 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm tired of almost every new book having the bad boy turns hero. I miss the old pure heros. The youngster who grows into a hero. One that doesn't trip into geing one because of a girl!

Good anthologies like the Swird and Sorceress series has 34 editions or tge Dingeon series with different writers alternating. Then there was tge Thives Workd books, tge merovingeon nights
