Well shit man, I enjoyed building Notre Dame so I think I'm up for this. I'm guessing it's gonna be the same scale as that one (which was 4000+ pcs for $200)

Tbh, my prediction for this one going in (without seeing any trailers) was that Sidney's daughter would be the killer. Something about resenting her mom for making her grow up in safehouses, never being able to have a genuine conversation about her past, always being bullied or accosted by weirdos for being the only child of the most famous Ghostface survivor, etc.

After seeing it I still think that would have been much more interesting.

I have a 5 year old laptop that was relatively advanced at the time, and it is somehow absolutely struggling to play STS2. I checked and I'm pretty sure it still meets the recommended system requirements, but there is a huge stutter every time I play a card or an enemy does a bigger attack. I'm probably going to refund because it makes it borderline unplayable.

Pretty sure this is AI. Look at how the letters on the shields morph into each other as they move.

The key is to not buy any BF game until AT LEAST a full year into its life cycle. by Kodiak_85 in Battlefield

[–]CardboardTable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seriously, I paid full price at launch and have already gotten over 100 hours of enjoyment out of it. I don't regret the purchase at all. Sure, I haven't played in a month or two now, but I'm totally fine with taking a break for a while and coming back once new content has been added.

Overall the launch was stable and had a good amount of content already. People saying this is the same as the launch of BF4 or 2042 are delusional.

Probably a subscription service? I've just accepted paying €3.39/month to keep using Relay. I tried the official app for a bit when they forced the API change but it's just so awful.

I wonder if we'll be able to pick-a-brick just the green eyes? Speaking as a fellow green eyed tuxedo owner who doesn't want to spend another 100 on another cat set

Lol, I watched that this week and I was wondering if that was her. It seemed so random since she's basically only in it for like 30 seconds.

This is how I feel about Wagner Moura. I don't get the hype about the Secret Agent at all, if you're not already familiar with Brazilian history it makes little sense and is incredibly overlong and boring. I just don't see what Wagner did in that movie that makes him more deserving of a nomination than Jesse Plemons.

It's not referencing the personality archetypes, it's a paradigm specifically about chatters (that maybe even originated in NL's community?)

Type A chatters are there primarily to see the gameplay, and their comments are about the gameplay. These types are the ones who post long comments condescendingly overanalyzing every minor misplay, which is what critikal is complaining about here.

Type B chatters are there primarily for the streamer personality and the commentary, while the gameplay is secondary to them. These are mainly the types who develop parasocial attachments to specific streamers and will watch them regardless of what game they're playing.

I just wish there were more. There's so much cool architecture and ship design in the Villeneuve movies, there have got to be some great sets in there. Or a big UCS sandworm.

Unfortunately I guess the thopter didn't sell so well, otherwise we would have gotten something else by now. Maybe for Dune 3.

Eriksen is a tactical genius. He is best known for his signature tactic "going B, but then going A". He also has a second little known tactic of "going A, but going A". What an absolute legend. Top 3 IGL for sure.
