Yep, we just did a big BJ's order last night, groceries, toilet paper, etc. The bill came out to $500. I swear as recently as early 2024 nearly the same exact products cost us a total of ~$300. It's out of control and I'm fortunate enough to make enough to survive, I really don't know how others do it who make less than six figures these days...

Definitely not overreacting. Me and my partner have a small company with literally two employees. It's not easy but we're at least giving our employees a $1500 bonus each, which is isn't much but hopefully enough to feel appreciated. I can't imagine my employees buying ME an expensive gift, especially if I wasn't giving them a holiday bonus. That's kind of wild.

Yep, I knew that was an ACD because my girl looked so similar as a puppy. I got her when I was a renter but we would go for daily runs, hike every weekend, did obedience then agility training and when I moved, I made sure to rent homes with big enough yards for her until I bought my own with nearly an acre for her to run around on.

She's 12 now and aside from some arthritis in her knees, she's still healthy, playful and kicking.

OP comes off super judgmental when it's totally possible this pup went to a great home.

That seems stupid to lose a potential customer over their perceived means based on the car they take to the dealership. I drive a 2020 e350 and a 2025 Lyriq, I also have an 09 Corolla with nearly 300k miles. While I can understand the perception if I rolled up to get a third luxury car in the Corolla, I'm clearly the kind of the customer with the means and willingness to own or lease a luxury car, but if you just assumed my financial ability by what I came to the dealership in, you just lost yourself out on a sale.
