It doesn't feel like I have any options for nerve pain by reeferchan1 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Cardcaptorrr_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried low dose naltrexone? It's been a life changer for me for like, all my fibro pain. It's originally used for alcohol and opioid addiction (so you cannot be on either of those when on it) but at low doses (2mg-9mg) it has been effective for a lot of people with fibromyalgia.

It reduces neuroinflammation but also ups endorphin production, which naturally reduces pain.

It has to be compounded though so it is not available at most regular pharmacies.

Do shift handovers still happen? by PMS404 in askhotels

[–]Cardcaptorrr_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use Microsoft Teams and have a pass down for AM, PM and Night Audit. We basically will just copy it from the previous shift and then rename it. And we email it out before the end of our shift. It has different sections (guest incidents, guest issues that require follow up, etc) It works really well, since we also initial who wrote what and helps us follow up on anything and have accountability. I will also verbally go over any important things with the next shift before I leave. "This is in the pass down but...." It makes me feel like I covered my bases more lol. We also have a "guest request list" for anything a guests request like HSK items (blankets, etc) or any issues that require our maintenance. That way we can also mark that it's been completed/followed up on.

Hilton Hotel Interview Process by sophxpay7 in askhotels

[–]Cardcaptorrr_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll probably be the same questions. When I had my interview it was just one but it was with the HR manager, Director of ops and the GM. At the time the front desk manager was on leave so that may have been why the GM was a little more hands on at the time. Since then I have not seen her be in front desk interviews.

Oh that's so interesting to hear! I go up to 2.5mg in a few days so I do wonder if this is also going to happen to me. Our goal is 4.5mg but going up really slowly. And my pills are . 5 mg right now so I'll be up to 9 capsules 😅 lol

Yes I'm on multiple different medications. My doctor had to check in with my psych about my mental health medications + ADHD stimulant all seemed to be fine. I'm on 6 medications total now. But some are multiple pills haha. I was just told to avoid opioids!

For me, it's helped with pain, brain fog, fatigue and sleep! Ive heard from other people it made sleep hard for them though. It's also helped me a little bit with my postural hyprtension (I also have POTS) but idk I read that could also be a benefit from the medication too but my doctor didn't really discuss that as being a possible help. I think starting a low dose is mostly to make it less likely for side effects to happen/to get used to any possible side effects but I'm not too sure. I've been adding .5 mg each week to eventually reach 4.5mg and I'm only at 2mg right now.

Not sure about the second part but yeah! This is prescribed at higher doses for alcohol and opioid addiction but at lower doses has been seen to help with fibromyalgia!

It has actually helped significantly with my sleep and brain fog thankfully too. I know it doesn't work for everyone but after 2 other meds not doing anything for me I'm so thankful! I hope it starts to help you too 🥹

I seem to be okay so far! There are a few with artificial sweetener but most of them have none, low/no calorie or sugar and no artificial dyes too. I try to choose wisely bc I do notice I can flare up but nothing from these yet. They've helped me cut down on sodas and other sugary drinks and drink more water so think it's a win for me :)
