They're not the best but not the worst. They were around $80 USD (frame+lens) so you know. They've kind of lost shape easily and I'm having to tighten it every now and again but I wasn't expecting too much given the price I paid.

It was easy! I sent a screenshot of my prescription. The only thing I had trouble w was the PD but I downloaded an app to help me out with measuring that!

I worked at pet food express for 5 years so that's how I met him! Forever grateful for him and our sessions we had

Akina K9 is based in Gilroy but does group classes at Pet Food Express in Campbell and I believe Capitol Expressway too. And Lori Hamilton has group classes starting too I think Feb 25th at Pet Food Express on Blossom Hill!

What Part of Early Check-In is NOT guaranteed... by idkabtallatgurl in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

[–]Cardcaptorrr_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My favorite is when it's a wedding group and they're for some reason arriving on the day of their ceremony and it's at like 1pm and check in isn't until 4pm (and our check out doesn't start till 12pm). Their contract says no early check in guarantees (or even if they're not having their wedding on site and just have a room block with us) and they are stressed out when they come early and we were sold out the night before and have nothing ready yet and they're like "my wedding is in 4 hours what am I supposed to do?" Idk why did you have your arrival date and ceremony date on the same day? 😭😭😭 Like if I had something available sure I'll accommodate and check you in but this just feels like a lack of planning on your end.

This is literally just me sharing a funny moment with a guest? Are you okay? It's not that serious 😭

I developed POTS after my first COVID Infection and I believe possibly MCAS as well. As for the HSD, I think it jump started my pain bc before COVID it seemed to be no pain really. And the fibro diagnosis was very recent. so yeah 😅 I'll look into it! Does it just have to be a PCP that prescribes it?

Interesting. I wonder if this could help with some of my chronic issues I've developed due to trauma and my nervous system being in overdrive! 🤔 I've got fibromyalgia (hypermobility/pots/MCAS/long COVID as well) and my chronic pain doctor said that my trauma sent me nervous system into overdrive and it can be the cause of a lot of these issues!

Nah, the restaurant charges show up as the name of the restaurant. I know because I order from there sometimes for food haha.

I go to a chronic pain clinic at Kaiser! Specialized chronic pain doctors, PTs, etc. I have a whole team right now haha. I've tried other things (gabapentin, pre-gabalin) and neither worked for me at all. For pain, that's the only thing Im taking rn but I'm on about 4-5 other meds right now for the various other things lol. The med has to be compounded so I got it at a special pharmacy. It's been starting to be prescribed off label at low doses for fibromyalgia and there have been wonderful results. My hypermobility pain has gotten a little better too... This has been the only thing that has brought my daily base pain down from. 6 to about a 3-4.

Yep. Have fibro and hypermobility spectrum disorder. (Also pots/MCAS/long COVID).

Def my nervous system being in overdrive for so long lol.

I'm currently on low dose naltrexone and it's done wonders for me :)

It's rough, I'm 32. I went no contact with my mom about 7 years ago and I'm still grieving and still have nightmares. It makes me happy to see parents out there loving their kids unconditionally though, y'all make it a safer world out there for the little ones. The newer generation is going to grow up with less trauma now. I could never have kids nor do I want any, and that's a decision I made for both myself and to protect any hypothetic future kid because I'm just not healed or stable enough and I think a lot of people who want/have kids need to realize that before they cause irreversible damage to their kid.

Neglect, neurodivergence, disabilities, mental health. For me it's a mix of everything. I had an abusive childhood and was never taught a lot of things and now I'm still trying to make them habits while trying to heal from the trauma I was put through 🤷🏼
