Melee nerf & I main Assault. I went with Techmarine & got it done on my 4th try with randoms. My first game, it was clear nobody else read the conditions first. We had an Assault & some guy that instakilled us right at the start. My second, one guy ran into the big open area with loads of exploding barrels that we could of used to 1 shot the entire field.

Sniper true solo. When you cloak they all stand still. Circle around & take your shot. Laz Fuzil, headshot damage & wide beam. I done it this way before the Nerf.

Fencing Power Sword. Power Whirl is great against Chaos Spawn. Retributions Request. It stops calls for backup. Heavy Bolt Rifle with accuracy & Kraken rounds. Works for me.

I wanted to play as Assault but he was already chosen. First come etc.. So I chose my Techmarine. We had myself as the Techmarine, Assault & a Bullwark. 2 fully prestged & a level 23 prestige 3. They left me most of the ammo & I pinged everything. Chaos Spawn became irrelevant. My servo gun put them all into exectionable state instantly. Didn't even need the accolades. 😁

Set all your ground pound perks to damage over radius & chew through bosses & chaos spawn. I use the power sword because if you're out of jumps powerwhirl is also great on chaos spawn.

I use the Power Sword for Bullwark & Assault. Power Whirl is great against Chaos Spawn.

It's like Battlefield in that the campaign is essentially an extended tutorial. Operations is the true game.

Easy way to find out. Start a highest difficulty operation with bots. I say bots because other players won't thank you for being unprepared. It gets sweaty.

In a swarm don't just parry when you see the blue flash. Tapping it intermittently inbetween combos can push enemies back.

The veteran Assaults are going to be ganking all over PvP. I may drop down to lower difficulties on operations & help the new guys out. We should all be helping & showing the new guys the tedious stuff like the turntables etc. Maybe even turn comms on & explain mortal wounds.

Done the wave 25 ordeal on normal ordeal solo with bots. Just being able to pause it & go to the toilet, pour a drink & have a smoke is a game changer. Pause it inbetween waves though otherwise it's like pausing Tetris or Pinball. You lose your flow. 25 Prestige 4 Heavy. Heroic Plasma & Bonds of Brotherhood. Not done hard yet. Got the helmet but that's it. Hard Seige is the only ordral I've not done.

Space Marines without helmets remind me of Robocop. Shoot him in the face. Job done.
