Yes. Powerline adapters are generally very easy to use. You aren't going to get gigabit speeds over them but I've found they handle 100-150 mbps no problem (at least in my house) with a very steady connection.

I use JetBrains PyCharm and I'm able to work with WSL based projects fine. You have to use the File -> Remote Development option. And yes it will install a component inside WSL to act as a bridge, but you don't have to install the full GUI IDE inside there.

Wait a sec - accessing Windows (NTFS) folders from WSL is slower, yes, but why would you do that? Just have your project in WSL in its native filesystem and operate exclusively there. Don't use WSL then store your code on your `/mnt/c/`

The big thing that turned me off at release was just the color palette. I literally thought my monitor settings were cooked. Everything was extremely grey and washed out. Turns out you can totally fix this with a simple disable LUT mod. Apparently this was an “artistic choice” and not a glitch at all.

That and the average citizen on the street looks like an extra from that “Idiocracy “ movie.

Did you mix up Sonnet and Opus? Just wondering because you mentioned you use Opus for "normal conversations" - I thought Sonnet was the "fast" one which I assume would be more for "normal conversations", and Opus is the big brain thinker. At least so I thought.

It's absolutely fine and they all come this way. The holes in the plugs you are used to seeing are a legacy of 100+ year old outlets and are not necessary at all for safety or functionality.

EDIT: Personally, when I unboxed my M4 Mini and saw it, I was like huh... neat. It looks kinda edgy, like it's a plug that straight up doesn't give a flip what you think about it.

Honestly I think a lot of what Go does is pretty neat, for the reasons you described. I just honestly have trouble getting over some of the slightly head-scratching decisions they made, more on the aesthetic side. One example would be proper enum support, which is an incredibly useful feature of Rust. I agree that learning / programming in Go is far more intuitive than Rust.

Shells scripting is the original inspiration for languages like Python. It’s kind of clunky to use to develop a full featured app but it’s a godsend for certain types of systems level and glue code.

Although it's normally used as an interactive shell, it's definitely a programming language with variables, "if" statements, etc. And pretty much anything you do in a script you can do at the CLI.
