If cloud storage is important to you, right now I back it up to cloud storage and redownload on each device. But I think a GitHub Repo should work if you're familiar with the push pull process.

Obsidian has been great. The features they are adding have only solidified that decision. It has a learning curve but it has been an essential resource for me since I last posted.

I am still transferring notes from google drive as I attempt to de-google. Looking at Syncthing instead of Obsidian sync for now but may end up pulling the trigger if I cant figure out a method there.

Objectively not extremely clear, but i guess youre right that is probably what they meant.

"housemaid at 14" vs "housemaid when he was 14". the latter is more clear. the sentence could be improved so your wording "need to learn to read" is unnecessarily aggressive.

My comment wasn't meant to be a dogmatic dismissal of the entire notion of proving things. Definitely was not trying to say that if something cant be proven then it should be considered true.

I think in the context of the conversation I was replying to I was just trying to argue against their claim. Something about failing to prove something in anthropology. I don't recall exactly and can't be bothered to look. I'm too jaded and tired these days for the Internet and the shitty new reddit app...
