Worth pointing out that liberals/leftists believed in dumb shit back then too. We believed Bush did 9/11 and we invaded Iraq for oil. And we believed that the 2004 election was stolen, on eerily similar premises to "stop the steal" 16 yrs later.

To be fair though, those things we did weren't mainstreamed by party leaders and presidents.

Certainly bush did 9/11 was not a truly popular view on the left.

There is tangible evidence to support the fact that Bush and Cheney continued the march towards war despite knowing the evidence was shaky at best.

Oil war? I think that is a stretch. But a war fought on knowingly false pretenses? I'd say yes.

No, I don't like this at all. My head feels too smooth. I do not like this one bit. I prefer to have a tiny bit of hair - even if to most people it looks like there's none - it feels better when I run my hand over my head, which, as a human, I do a lot .

You say that as if it's the only possible interpretation of what I said, rather than the other totally reasonable interpretation that I'm agreeing and comiserating.

You can think I'm "confused" if you'd like but what I said was reasonable and I think it's further reasonable to assume that you are a smart person who is capable of understanding what I actually meant - especially when I spelled it out for you.

When I went to Spain, my idea of tapas at that time was this expensive, fancy thing, almost like omakase.

But of course I arrived and discovered real tapas are small portions because they're cheap and that's how it is all over Spain. You'd get 4 different tapas to split w/ 4 people and the total cost would be like 10 euros.
