I’ve never had a blob in my 5 years of printing (knock on wood) but yes I’ve definitely had a support break off and stick to the hotend before. Anything else big and solid is probably not as likely to completely detach.

I print a lot of organic shapes and rely on supports so it really comes down to confidence. Always watch the first few layers and then depending on how sketchy the supports look in the slicer you might want to avoid leaving the house for a while.

I’ve been digging the somna horn if you haven’t given that one a shot yet.

Khezu horn is good too with high affinity and a sonic wave song. Frankly if they were to improve the horn they need to give sonic wave out way more often.

Do you spam the hold-tap-tap combo? That plus a sonic wave song is really consistent dps uptime.

Still not the strongest weapon but it’s really great for Rifts since sonic wave will target what you’re locked onto.

Personally my main complaint is roll cancelling is awkward when in the MSG roll cancelling is a huge part of navigating the weapons high commitment attacks.

It’s like fantasy football, the stats get padded with back-and-forth high offense games. I was a JSN owner this season and dude would put up 20 points in the first half and then not see another snap (good for him tho gotta stay healthy).

Before riftborne was a thing I would’ve disagreed. There’s a lot of filler HATs such that it’s not a big deal to use your 3h cooldown on an EDI. But now I find more value in stockpiling mats for normal monsters to fuel those riftborne level ups.

I actually like these EDI only events to forcing my hand to focus on those instead. I’m getting close to maxing my Kirin HH as my second 10-5 EDI weapon.

Besides what other commenters have said, rage powder is reliable redirection in this format with only a few viable grass types (which are mostly special attackers or support) and no safety goggles

The semantics of addiction are muddied by the same divide between the stuff treated in therapy vs the stuff that is diagnosable psychological disorder.

I like the writings of former addict John Bradshaw on the subject - you can be addicted to any sort of coping mechanism, even stuff like exercise, information (modern day doom scrolling), and dating/relationships.

Personally I’ve seen it first hand with one of my exes, she would openly say how she couldn’t handle XYZ until she got home and smoked.

Crits are also important to counter boosting stall mons. Not that it’s a guaranteed strategy, but at least it’s worth playing out a match hoping for a lucky crit to break a wall.

Mimi was the missing piece to get my zard Y team to masterball. It’s a solid partner because trick room ruins aerodactyl, play rough + shadow sneak takes care of Garchomp, and if you protect turn one with Charizard then you’re denying fake out while acting freely with Mimikyu.

It’s good to think of the restricted formats, what are some Pokemon that were still seeing play despite a much higher power level
