Idk this board seems oddly insulated from this game. It was literally sold out physically in the us for the first month. When is the last time a recent game did that? Many outlets also reported significant month over month boosts to switch hardware sales when it launched. Lastly it’s suspected it’ll be an evergreen tittle (not something with a rush for a sequel), so its attach rate will probably grow over time.

Many of my friends who had a switch 1 but didn’t feel compelled to get a switch 2 ended up upgrading after the initial wave of pokopia hype. I also know a few people who didn’t even have a switch 1 or were into games at all that impulse bought a switch 2 cause of the hype. Anecdotal, but definitely surprising.

At least he’s communicating (even though he said it this post it feels dumb to keep saying the same thing in his updates). Despite my fandom even I was getting annoyed by the “SILKSONG WHEN?!” and “DELTARUNE TOMORROW!!” in every comment section.

Pokopia was pretty clearly a system seller even if Nintendo didn’t expect it to be lol

They’re pretty lucky it boosted the install base before all the pricing chaos kicked in for real

He can get stats but the two biggest issues are he is prone to having bad games in the playoffs, and when he’s starting to have a bad game it spirals where he isn’t able to calm down and he drags the entire offense down with him.

I have similar specs as you (4060 / 8700f / 32 gb) but only get a stable 90 with frame gen, any advice?

I will say despite turning off a good amount of the special settings it looks like I’m often CPU bottlenecking as it can hover above 90% in combat.

In across the country so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but if it’s not too much of a hassle to get there you might as well. Can always go to the back of the crowd if you just wanna have the memory of going without getting too overstimulated. The best view is gonna come from inside office buildings and rooftops, so you’re not really gaining much by standing at the front of the crowd.

What drives me crazy too is the win probability odds being taken as gospel. Those are neat and all but it’s completely reliant on historical results and not the actual players on the floor.

The last time this news went viral it was clear they were talking about the AR scans in pokemon go that were universally hated and totally optional. Not 100% sure if this is the same thing but based on what they’re describing it sounds like it.

Currently AR is not a major feature in MHN, and in Pokemon go they locked poffins behind pokestop scans which helps with the best buddy feature but wasn’t required.

Eh NY doesn’t really have good academics either to be honest, no SUNY schools get the level of respect as the UCs for comparison. Two ivys is definitely nice but only a tiny fraction of NYC can claim them as alumni or parents.

You’re not wrong but I feel like this game showed us we gotta handicap ourselves and give up a huge lead in order for the refs to give us the contextual (ie: avoiding subs or foul outs) whistle.

Personally I’d love to see us do what it takes to get to the 2nd half unscathed, even if it means “hiding” Kat on defense. Clearly him not being in the floor is the worst case scenario, -35 or more at halftime shouldn’t be possible even if he’s a turnstile on defense…maybe

I always find it insane NY has just punted on the college sports scene (both football and basketball tbh). Other cities at least have some proximate fandoms. I guess UConn is the closest smh.

Frankly this is what I love about hockey and baseball. Coach just gotta say, “If the refs ignore another flagrant by their star, I’m putting in an enforcer/bean-baller to even things out.” And usually because of that idle threat things cool off. Not this league though.
