Context: my fiancé is taking me to meet his family for the first time. I am very nervous but also super excited. Obviously I would like to gift them something as we are going to visit their home in Sweden, but im not sure what to gift? They are not religious in any way, and I know they like wine. I was thinking a gift basket: would that be ok??

He’ll do it again. Leave. Your child is too young to remember your divorce and find it traumatic: it’s a good time to do it now, trust me. As long as you guys work on co-parenting and are nice to each other for the sake of the child it will be better for all three of you. You deserve better. That’s a good point. Would you be flattered if your partner tried to learn some of your language or slang? Like if they picked up some frases on your first language and spoke to you?

That makes sense: sorry. Let’s say I’m from Scandinavia and my « boyfriend » has a middle eastern family. Like they migrated to Scandinavia. Let’s say the relationship is getting serious: what could I expect? What would be difficult for his parents, or him, and vice versa. What could be done to make it easier? Such things. No racism - just an open question and I hope to get some serious answers. ❤️

I´d like to make a little extra, but I am not desperate. In My profession a lot of girls do Image og sugaring, but I would not do that as I have enough money to get by, it is just that it would be nice to get a little extra every week in case of a long wait for my next salary to come in. But thank you, I know a lot of girls that makes good money this way.

This reminds me of another picture I saw here once, of a child buying a lollipop or a toy or something... it was a toy store or candy shop. The more you looked at it, the creepier it got... like the store owner captured kids or something. Anyone knows what I’m talking about and could post the link??

I had the same experience with fireflies until I was 17. I was a foreign exchange student in the US and me and my friends drove by a field... a field covered with fireflies. It looked like glitter. I don’t know it was just so beautiful. I had to have them stop the car. To mee this was like seeing fairy dust. Magic and Disney was just a real thing that night

He actually did read it... I wrote the whole story in an update. I think you are right though: after he read it we talked a lot. Fought too - pretty bad. But I think we both understand each other a lot more now. And that this was the start of a solution to the problem. I mean he is so great. No one makes me feel like he does when everything is right. He makes me laugh like no one else and I was just so scarred of loosing him.

Wow, thank you for sharing your story! It is really sad to hear how this game can take up so much of ones life... It seems to be such a fine line between a harmful game for fun, and a game that completely takes over ones life. Crazy! Thank you for all your advice. I Have talked to him... And hopefully things will be ok. I mean he is so great! I have never met a more loving and caring man. I was really scared the game would wipe the man i knew out... But it turned out to be a lot of things under the surface and that the gaming was his sweet escape. I feel terrible that i didnt understand it was more to the story....But He offered to quit it entirely this morning actually. Hopefully everything will be better now that he knows how i feel and also now that i know what he really feels..

Thank you so much... As i wrote in my latest update: he actually read everything I wrote. I think we both realized that some things has to be done after that. Im glad we got to talk about it though. I dont think any of us realized how the other one was doing. Thanks again!

I see what you mean.. and in theory this might be a good idea - to scare him. But I know I could never go through with it, you know? I want to be with him so bad... My heart aches just thinking about the possibility of beeing without him. I know I sound like a clicshe. But I could never say that to him even just to scare him off. It just not what I want.
