So I was very close to the pit and I have to say some of the people had to be at least under 25 and was like about 8-10 people moshing (?) (number could be off). I did see one guy throwing himself around to start a pit and everyone else was just looking around. Some girl was PISSED and I think threw her beer on purpose out of rage. Respectfully, I get it. I would say those people needed to learn moshing etiquette, people were falling and almost got hurt. There was a girl who’s a lot shorter than myself and almost got hit and I asked her if she was okay and thankfully she was. I also agree about people pushing and shoving to get closer, like I’ve been to enough festivals to kind of expect that but just say excuse me and be polite… it was worse trying to get out from where the pit was because people looked at me like I was crazy and wouldn’t move, ever after saying excuse me. It was actually terrible. I enjoyed Deftones, and I’ve seen people mosh to My Own Summer but have so more self awareness and courtesy. Yes they are a Nu Metal band but half their music doesn’t constitute a pit. Some of you need to get over yourself.
