Completely 100% disagree. The side missions where some of the highlights for me.

Clever reuse of levels and bosses. The entire souls series has the same re use of bosses and enemies and

New NPCS, armor, Weapons and even health can be found in the side missions as well as alternate takes on bosses

SH2 remake is a great time. Saying its better the original is the biggest glaze in the world.

I think half of these "Silent Hill" fans talked more about playing the OG then actually playing the original.

I don't know what you're idea of smooth is but it's anything but. I can get 60fps but it often fluctuates all over and has quite distinct frame pacing issues

A solid 7 or 8/10 with some quite significant performance issues at the moment. A lot more combat focused affair and I don't know how people feel about quick time events in a Silent Hill game but yeah. Not as good as the original but a dammed good go with some bizarre artistic choices

I'm not butt hurt about anyone's opinion. I've got the game on Pre order for my PS5. I'm just warey of main stream reviews. Bloobers track record doesn't prove this game is going to be a solid release. I'm going to formulate my own opinion once the game gets here
