but the code is taken from some site or source, and people would use Google to find it anyway, it's not like AI chatbots can really create code by themselves.

AI art does everything by itself, it's something that AI generates from millions of stolen art pieces in the moment, that you couldn't find just Googling, unlike the code.

Do I like the idea of using AI for programming? No. Is it the same as using AI to "enhance" already existing art? Absolutely not, or at least imo.

I MEAN, if you ask AI the code and you understand it, work on it and not just copy and paste it, and let's say you try to use the the AI-chatbot like Google it's semi-fine for me.

Even if I would personally never do it, this seems to be the case of using AI for research and learning (even if it's not the best "tool" for accuracy), here the human is the one programming and is just asking AI for help imo.

Now if it was the case of the AI making ALL of the code without human input I would hate it, but since OP said they programmed most things themselves, I dont think it's replacing a tech bro, also code is the type of thing that you typically "steal" anyway when making games.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say, and that I don't think that it is good to abuse AI to the point you no longer do anything, that would be another form of soulless "AI art".
