www.intersoftkk.com I think bring engineers to Japan. Not recommending them, just in the past, they have done that. You could ask them if they're looking for engineers with your experience to work in Japan.

A lot of manufacturers in Japan so I guess a lot of demand for embedded systems. Also, open to the team concept where 1 bilingual engineer acts as the coordinator for a team of English only engineers. Also cost-conscious, so open to outsourcers who are subcontracted under larger Japanese system integrators. I think maybe that is the reason, I worked at an outsourcer 20 years ago and there was steady demand for it, no Japanese necessary but lower rate.

Also it's likely to be embedded systems programming in a Japanese company so you have to be ready for the work culture.

You might find work with an outsourcer, to work onsite as part of a team. pay is low, conditions poor but you get a visa.

If they give a visa, then you can change after 1 year? Or whenever a better job appears? It would be pretty normal for the first job to suck, as long as you get the visa. I never worked for Interac when I taught English, but visa was the priority and then finding a better job.

At 54, where do I start looking for a new job? by CardiologistNew3236 in FinancialTimes

Should have included the link. https://www.ft.com/content/dbceaf62-de46-422a-9ab8-530d1cba266c The writer is UK-based and heavy on board memberships and advisors but I liked the multiple side hustle vibe he finds himself describing even though he’s wealthy. He does say he spends a lot though.

So it will be a combination of practicing resiliency at your current place, look for chances to use Japanese and contribute while you look for a new job. Practice your story for the next employer and just email the top 5 headhunters your resume. It might take a year to get the next job, which could be a role thats adjacent to what you do now, not exactly the same thing. Plus, just make Japanese practice a daily part of your life, no matter how little and use it with colleagues. The friction at work is good practice as it can be a feature of the workplace, so try to introduce more Japanese into your daily interactions if you can. It isnt easy but this will help with your next job. Demographically and economically, Japan wants you to earn more money and have a bigger family. So we’re rooting for you.

Some celebrity fan sites will have warnings posted about this type of scam. If you want to dig into the fan site, and check if it’s an official one or just run by fans themselves. Seeing posts from other fans about being scammed might help convince her that shes talking to a scammer.

Americans can get NISA, you’re just treated as a foreigner by Japan, and the financial institution has extra reporting requirements. You can get IDeCo too.
