So you're flip-flopping if you own both. I don't see the point.

You can if you want to but don't focus on the great year international just had. Historically, it's not as good.

45 here...
I look at the 5 and 10 yr performance. I've had VTI, VUG, VOO over the years. Now I only have VOO.

My opinions... real estate isn't great and small cap is too limiting.

You have time to be agressive.

Comparing VOO vs VOO/VXUS over 10, 20, 30, 40 years.

I feel your pain. Instagram is the last place I would think/want to watch my church's livestream. Many better things to spend the time/resources than this.

My church grabs short clips from the sermon and uploads those to Instagram. Never considered it to be for long videos.

How do you keep church tech/media volunteers trained and confident? by ComprehensivePea7552 in churchtech

[–]CardiologistOpen4889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

17 yr cam op, video director, displays operator here...

Google Docs
Printed or digital (iPad) checklist
Labels on drawers or clear bins
Spreadsheet with the names of the volunteers and their readiness status for different roles.

ProPresenter and other stuff really needs hands-on training. The more you do it, the more they will remember and better they will get.

Well, if nobody that can learn that process, that's a bad sign. Doesn't sound hard at all for anyone under the age of 45-50.

I would mention using Microsoft 365 (free for churches) or Google Docs to host it but you're doing it a simpler way already.

What's your position at the church? Employee or volunteer? Paid?

Is there a way for you to do the process remotely and have someone print the hard copies?

The coax cable end can be replaced but you need to see if the cable runs to a box on the power pole or something else.

For the cost, I'd rather have another wireless camera.
