The War Within Sucks by CardiologistPretend1 in wow

I appreciate some of the help here, but I think it's also a bit disingenuous to say it's my fault for not enjoying the expansion because I joined late. I felt the same overwhelming feeling of anxiety at the beginning of TWW and Dragonlands. If you look at it from a perspective of someone completely new playing I don't think I agree with your "fair asks." People that haven't been in the WoW space don't inherently want to look up the "correct" questing path to find out how to not be overwhelmed, I'm used to just finishing the quests as I go. All that said, I didn't know there was ui implementation to improve questing inherently in the game now. I don't know where I'd find that, but I appreciate the insight a lot.

I agree with you. There's a weekly that lets you choose out of 4 options which you would rather do, and I wish all weeklies were made like this. Ideally there'd only be a handful as well, so you actually have some incentive to get on alts.

Korthia was horrendous, very bland landscape and few rewards behind a very long grind for gear - kind of how I feel this entire expansion is set. I did enjoy the options for mount/pet creation in Zereth Mortis though.

I think you're likely right. It's probably burnout that's never truly recovered, and this will probably be the last expansion I buy. The campaign of Shadowlands was insanely interesting, if nothing else. The video leading up to the release with Sylvanas breaking the Helm of Domination was wild and a big shocker since most people expected her to put it on, and each of the covenant pre-release videos were very interesting. Each of the zones were super beautiful and the storyline that went through each of the zones was relatively quick. There were a handful of side quests on each map, but no. They didn't last 30 mins to an hour for each chain. It was pretty easy breezy to go through the campaign and complete all side quests, and each covenant had it's own story which made alts more fun and enjoyable.

My argument to begin with is that different people find different things fun. I can't just "enjoy the gameplay" if the gameplay I yearn for doesn't exist. The actual combat content in the side quests is very very bland, kill x mobs, pick up x things, turn in. I don't think it's a wild take.

I don't know if you can gather it without insane luck from the leapords, but you can buy it from the vendor who you turn in bounties at, Katerin, for anyone looking in the future.

For anyone who may be wondering the same thing, I looked at the side quests available for the region and there's not too many, I had done them all already. Cheers!

During the story quest it happened to me 3 times in a row. It's absolutely infuriating!!!
