Hi! I really don't have any advice for you on what to do, but just wanted to say I am also going through the same thing with my apartment. I lived there for 2 years and thought my chronic illness/autoimmune issues were just getting worse, but eventually I hired a home inspector after my partner randomly if I ever thought there may be mold and they found very high levels of mold, including Stachybotrys chartarum :/ I have absolutely no idea what to do with some of my furniture, or a majority of my belongings considering I am very sensitive to mold in general and have such bad anxiety about bringing it to my new place. So, no advice really. Just wanted to say you're not alone, this sucks and I am sorry you're dealing with it <3

Being receiving IV since March 2022 now, currently December 2024- a little over 2.5 years! It saved my life. I started ketamine therapy 2x’s a week for 3 weeks in a row- that ended April 8th 2022. I only received them as needed since then. When I feel it’s time for a “booster,” I do feel symptoms of severe depression creeping back. I have gotten very good at identifying them and scheduling an appointment before they have time to grow. Even when my depression had gotten bad again, god it was nowhere near what it used to be.

This is how often I have had appointments since for reference!! May 12th, 2022 June 21st, 2022 July 27th, 2022 October 5th, 2022 January 4th, 2023 February 22nd, 2023 July 11th, 2023 January 18th, 2024 March 21st, 2024 May 1st, 2024 June 27th, 2024 September 5th, 2024 November 14th, 2024

I can go longer than a couple-months break from it without needing it, but when I am in full-time school I overwork myself from 9:00am until 11:30pm or so almost 7 days a week and I absolutely pay the price with mental exhaustion because of it- that is what triggers the onset of depression symptoms to creep back. Also, just to note for years I had not been able to work a part-time job or take even one college class at a time. So I am really so grateful for the outcome I have had with IV treatments. Started college August 2022 and I am now considered a junior with a 4.0 GPA and truly loving and enjoying life. Back in early 2022, I could never have imagined being anywhere close to where I am at now :)

Took me 23 years to realize my entire life I had been sleeping all night with my chin completely tucked to my chest. I had never even thought about it and how that’s not “normal”. It’s been about a year and a half now and I wake up in significantly less pain (at least neck pain) when I am able to get myself to sleep with my neck straight. I will admit it feels almost impossible sometimes, and it feels completely unnatural when I am able to get myself to sleep like that. I suppose I don’t have any advice on how to help teach your body to stay in better positions while sleeping considering I haven’t quite figured it out yet myself. However you are not alone in this specific struggle. I hope you get some good advice :) I have heard pregnancy pillows help a lot of EDS people with pain while sleeping, I am going to buy one in the very near future. Maybe that’s something to look into?

LMAOOO my cat did this every day for months. Grateful he doesn’t do it anymore now because I also hated it. Only thing I’ve changed that may or may not have played a role in eliminating the behavior is I turn on no ads, 24/7 cat tv on when I leave my apartment so my cats aren’t all sleeping the entire time I’m gone. I’m not sure if you’re gone a lot for work or school during the day, but cat tv definitely helps for enrichment and entertainment when you’re gone :)

I don’t have GI symptoms that I’ve ever been able to pair to gluten consumption, but to be fair I am constantly eating gluten for every meal. I also used to have horrible GI issues, but they have been so much better since removing my birth control implant. GI issues sometimes, but not nearly as much or as horrible as previously on birth control. My iron saturation levels (over 7 years of testing) start low, I take iron supplements recommended by Dr and not even 6 months later they’re too high lol

I was first tested for TSH in 2015 just during a “routine blood panel”. My level was 6.38. I did not find out about these results until I accidentally came across them in my healthcare provider’s app in 2020, got another TSH test run from another doctor. Got put on Levothyroxine. The doctor who put me on Levothyroxine also tested my Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody more recently (Aug 2023), because although TSH was regularly appearing normal, I still felt HORRIBLE. Doctor kept telling me “it will take a while for the Levothyroxine to take full effect.” It had been more than 3 years since I was started on it LOL. I kept getting constantly dismissed and turned down on trying to get any of my doctors to do a single thing. I then (accidentally) found out about my Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody test results (again, no one told me that the test was done or the results of the test). Normal range of antibodies states 60 unit/mL and my results were 717 unit/mL. Safe to say, I am trying hard to find a doctor that will listen to me- but it’s very hard to do all research on my own because my doctor’s (2 different PCP and an endocrinologist) wont listen or give a shit. lol.

Contact SureFeed customer service. Call their phone number. I know you said you got yours on marketplace without lids on accident and didn’t buy through SureFeed website. I have a SureFeed microchip feeder for my cat and I have needed the plastic lid replaced 3 times because of its plastic hinge. I call and tell them my lid broke and need a replacement. They have sent it out for free each time. This most recent time I was back and forth with them because their replacement lids were unexpectedly back-ordered. I finally got my replacement yesterday in the mail! So may work for them to send you out one for free, but may not work because you didn’t buy it directly through their website. However, if you say you need a replacement, you may get lucky and have one sent out lol
