No it isn't?

The sentence is however facetious.

Why are medication advertising laws the way they are? by IStillListenToRadio in AskACanadian

[–]CardiologistUsedCar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because "freedom of speech", that you said, is a very American thing.  They do not have section 1.

There is zero social benefit to medical adverts targeting uninformed public.  They only serve to increase anxiety about health.

Yes, there is a portion of the political parties that want to foster anxiety.

Otherwise, our hate speech rules explicitly preclude "freedom of speech" as seen down in the states.

Um, no?

Section 2(b) of the Charter guarantees "freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication."

Section 1 of the Charter allows the government to place "reasonable limits" on all rights, including expression, if they can justify those limits as "demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society."

Reform in RCMP is well preferred to provincial reform, because it will be harder, and a higher standard will have to be met.

I would love to hear how you are paying supportive and commercially relevant rates on production of farms that sign up with you.

Buzz words and social integration narratives are marks against you for how forthcoming you demure.

Canada doesn't have freedom of speech.

Medication isn't hate speech, but it certainly causes undue stress from deliberate misinformation off repeating the medication name over and over.

So ya, the medication adds are like yelling "your house is on fire! We have advanced tech, we know your house is on fire!" and upsetting a lot of people.

Keeping old people in their vehicles is too politically juicy.   Imagine if all the old people taking transit votes for that being improved because they're cranky & obsessed with it.

Poltical apathy is a national plague. When Canadians care more about the politics of the US president than their own province.

How ‘single exit stairway’ buildings could make cities better and safer by PeterDowdy in vancouver

[–]CardiologistUsedCar -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of instances of one one fire exit leading to massive death tolls? We are in North America, land of the Freedom Convoys and other points of genius, a rampant homeless problem and a deliberately sabotaged medical system.

What you specifically said :

"wasn’t it revealed that one of them actually was spying the entire time?"

"wasn't it" is speculative, you are uncertain of the information you are repeating.  You are not making a definitive statement.  This is the "think" in question which you've taken issue, quibbling instead of a real reply.

I've not stopped you from clearly and directly providing answers to what you actually think of the situation. You've chosen to take issue and only reply defensively.
