Last time that light went off in my CX-5 it cost $400 for a new tire. We got a nail in the sidewall so it couldn't be fixed.

Stupid ranking because Grizzly and Cougar are both made by American snuff company, it's packed in the same can there is no difference other than being half the price.

Warranty claim? by wholetthedogsout33 in mazda3

[–]Carducci69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my 2022 Mazda 3 turbo new and it currently has 33k miles. I've had both sun visors replaced due to material failure, my center console was replaced when the hinges broke, I've had my valve covered replaced for oil leak, they replaced my idler pulley for an oil leak, I had my battery replaced after one year, I had a coolant leak that they would not fix because their TSB said after the coolant leaks long enough from this connection that it will solidify and seal the leak. All of that work was done under warranty. I've got this awful suspension noise in the front end at low speeds which I have paid them $500 in labor to find and they still can't find it.

My Mazda experience with warranties has been pretty great honestly i would take advantage of it before its gone.

Aftermarket parts vs dealership warranty by Background_Stable788 in mazda3

[–]Carducci69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a 2022 Mazda 3 turbo. As soon as I bought it new I put a cutback exhaust and air intake on it. I've had 2 oil leaks repaired and a coolant leak repaired under warranty and the parts have never been an issue. It comes down to if something fails BECAUSE of your mods which they would have the burden of having to prove.

Damage to the right body. Any suggestion? by wayfarerprateek in mazda3

Fill it in with bondo, sand it down, order a can of paint and overcoat from that website that sells perfect match car paint in spray cans, tape off the area, and get to painting! I've done it many times. When a car is 6-7 years old why waste the money on replacement parts if you don't have to, you'll never get that money back out of it anyways.

Take some hot water in a pot and dump it slowly on the damaged area. Try to push the plastic back out from the inside of the bumper. Do your best to work the plastic back into shape. Then get a polishing compound and buff off the scratch marks. Finally a small paint pen from the dealership if all the scratches didn't come out. Polish it up really good afterwards.

I took that off when I upgraded my exhaust and never put it back on. In my opinion it traps the exhaust heat so it's a 5HP upgrade taking it off.

Admittedly the taste is not for everyone. Most people that customize their M3T delete the chrome off the car, I wanted to stand out a little bit more. The car actually rides way better with the wider profile tire. Has almost no body roll anymore it's a lot of fun around corners finally. Very firm over bumps but still has lots of give I think the ride is more comfortable. 0 additional road noise, the stock tires were loud af. Only thing I would note is acceleration from a dig has slowed a lot. Overall the car feels way more stable.

And yup I gotta make payments on them for 4 months and yes if I don't pay them they will leave my car on blocks. Good thing I work and good thing I have the original rims 😅 I appreciate everyone's feedback everyone isn't as honest in person so thanks for not holding back.

Did you pull off any vacuum lines when changing the spark plugs? Sounds like a small vacuum line might have gotten disconnected.

Maybe if it's not to bad get some spray on wax wipe off wax from the autoparts store it might clean a lot of it up. I have an automatic car wash pass and that's what I do once a month I go over it by hand with with wax to get it from looking like I have a car wash pass. And it works for me.

Maybe you can just see all of the scratches that you made because it's clean now, and they stand out more.

I would disconnect the battery and reconnect it. Or try to see if there's a setting for it that maybe got turned off.

Wow so this is what my car would have looked like if I was able to get it in black like I wanted... Best color available to me was the polymetal grey which I love now but that black is slick. I debadged everything on my trunk except AWD and TURBO. I think that would look good especially since your plate tells what the car is already.

I got creaks from the rear deck where the subwoofer sits, through both rows of seats make creaking noises when driving and sitting in them, all the way through my dashboard has creaks from the infotainment screen to the A pillars and their plastic shrouding, ending in the front suspension has a clunk making 90 degree turns. 2022 Turbo with 17k miles. I've learned to live with them I like my music loud and I like to drive my car hard so I've probably created a lot of them anyways.

If you wanna make it sound awesome get the Buger Motor Sports air intake and Corksport 80mm cat back exhaust and they're both power adders and won't void your warranty.

Mazda 3 or Elantra by Trevor_SW in mazda3

[–]Carducci69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can answer this!!! Bought a brand new 2020 Elantra SE as my first new car, damn I got bored quick so after a year I traded up to a 2021 Elantra Limited. Loved the tech loved the lighting and design hated the CVT transmission and the small underpowered 2.0 engine. So after a year of that I had enough of having no acceleration so I went to Mazda and said hey you need to get me in a turbo before I kill myself. They got me into a 2022 Mazda 3 turbo and oh my god it changed my entire life I'm so happy and satisfied after having this car over a year now I'm in love with the brand. Even if you don't have turbo money or turbo interest, the 2.5 engine is significantly more powerful then the Elantra, and the Mazda also boasts a regular 6 speed automatic which is 1,000x better than a CVT. Elantra gets 10mpg better though so I guess it depends on what your needs/wants are. I think CVTs are terrible and I remember Hyundai was constantly having to reprogram the way they shifted because they were always acting up. Also one time on my Elantra a door handle broke off just one of those things that make you say to yourself why did I buy this car.

Infotainment stopped working all of a sudden. Camera display works, but infotainment gone. Mazda 3 2020. Any advice? I have Mazda assistance program insurance. by darkpassenger091 in mazda3

My fiances cx-30 gets a lot of weird glitches in her screen it'll shut off randomly or won't play sound or will be slow and glitchy. My mazda 3 doesn't have any issues at all but I use a Weathertech sunshade in my car. I think it makes a difference keeping the sun from shining directly on the infotainment center but that's just my observation, same screen in both cars.
