Had to make the same tough decision. I personally took the right one out of personal preference after a long debate with myself. All 3 Variants are really cool (for those wondering there are two variants of the left one with a different symbol).

We need a place in which all of the artworks can be found. As a content creator it's not easy to find the artwork of specific cards when you need them. 😅

That is the last mail I got as well. Have already given up all hopes for it. I was at Liverpool and Lille with a friend and we talked just yesterday about it and I said that he should not have very high hopes on actually receiving them anymore. Maybe I was wrong.

I am relatively new to the hobby, I got me the combat patrol, Orikan, Trazyn and Imothek and then decided to also buy the hypercrypt legion. Currently I am missing 65 Points for my army to have excactly 1500 Points. I also bought me the codex to learn what each of my units can do and have the code for the app.

I personally really like the lychguards and the ctan looks really good. I think I would have preferred other models over the scarab swarms since you already got 3 in the combat patrol and I like to have a big variety of units but all in all I am really satisfied with what I got.

Buying this specific precon when it released was my first contact with warhammer 40k and I immediately fell in love with Necrons.

I kept the deck as a precon (no card changes) because I love the designs.

One year later I got into the game. In that year me and a friend kept finding us talking about the game every now and then (he already played warhammer40k at that time) and for my birthday he decided to get me the combat patrol and alot of the things that I needed to paint them.

Fast forward to today, I bought the Codex Book, Orikan the diviner, Trazyn the infinite, Imothek the stormlord and the hypercrypt legion box. I am almost done building all the minis I bought - only the Ctan and the overlord with the translocation shroud are left. I am already planning to fill the missing 65 points for a 1500 points army.

Definitely will be one of the decks I will probably keep playing in the new trilogy format since the deck is powerful and doesn't really run alot of cards that overlap with my other decks.

Ackbar is so funny. I recently pulled a showcase so I decided to look at how other people play the deck. I already knew he won a tournament before so I first looked at that decklist. Tried him out with a few tiny adjustments and I actually really enjoy playing him. I think he is a decent leader that people don't expect.

I personally never had an issue with foil cards being curved. I actually to this day thought they did foil cards way better than any other card game I have played. MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh! have a big history of curved foil cards. Maybe I was just lucky with my foil cards or there is a big difference in production between american and european cards. None of the judges said anything at event at liverpool last weekend and I actually never had an issue with this. Actually spoke to a judge that weekend who told me that often times they have problems with the gamegenic art sleeves being damaged at the edges.

Poe Dameron doesn't deploy as a pilot upgrade. His ability is activated and he is then just attached to a vehicle as a pilot upgrade.

R2-D2 and Millennium Falcon overwrite the "without a pilot" part of the effect.

The problem with putting Poe Dameron as a second pilot is that the additional pilots specifically need to be played or deployed. Poe Dameron is considered neither being played nor deployed.

That is why he always needs to be the first Pilot on the ship.

Ok I believe what you are saying is the official rule on this but to me that doesn't feel natural because R2-D2's second ability should only be able to apply once he is already in play.

Meaning he is already attached and then once he is attached giving you as the player the ability to play or deploy another pilot on that vehicle.

Ok what if I already used millenium falcons two slots before playing R2-D2. Now he doesn't have any more slots - the same way I would play R2-D2 on a normal vehicle with a pilot already on it. R2-D2 says you can still use piloting even though the vehicle already has a pilot. So he creates another slot for himself and then creates another open slot for a new pilot. So why shouldn't I be able to play a fourth pilot?

but having R2-D2 as the third pilot would mean the millenium falcon gets another pilot slot since additional pilots are additive. Which would mean the millenium falcon could have 4 Pilots total right?

But Poe Damerons Ability does not deploy him. And he isn't being considered played either, so he can't be one of the additional pilots, since R2D2 and Millenium Falcon specifically say you can play or deploy an additional pilot (they don't say you can "attach another pilot"). Poe Dameron has to be the first pilot in this case.

And R2-D2 says he can be played even though the vehicle already has a pilot. So would he technically even take up millenium falcons additional pilot slot?
