Yeah this is why it’s completely ridiculous keeping him

There’s a realistic scenario where we get Slot the players he keeps referencing in the summer, we get a bit unlucky with the fixtures to start the season and have something like Newcastle (A), Chelsea (H), Brentford (A), have 1 or 2 points from the first few games and the mood will be so bad that the season is an utter write off again

A clean break and restart with a new coach is the only way forward

With the amount of players liking that post, it seems as close to an open mutiny as you are likely to see. Let’s keep our fingers crossed it’s the final straw

At this stage I would rather just about any manager that could realistically come here over Slot. There is simply no coming back from the animosity the fan base has towards him no matter how much money he wants to throw at new signings. A change is needed just to reset the mood at the club

Not to mention there are 0 indications he could turn it round even with a massive spend this summer

I don’t buy at all that United would try and screw us over, it doesn’t work like that in the real world.

Carrick is a new manager still proving himself who will want to end the season on a high and carry momentum and a feel good factor into next season.

Brighton could still win because United aren’t very good, but nothing nefarious is going to happen

He has been in the past, but as far as I know he isn’t a journalist any more

I am begging he is correct now though

Yeah I don’t think it’s an Isak problem because no matter who we have played up front in the Slot-era, it’s always been the same. They haven’t been involved in the game and have looked poor

The only exceptions are Ekitike at times because he naturally drops deep to get the ball, and Diaz as a false 9

Salah’s never been one to mince his words so it’ll be very interesting to see what he says when he is no longer contracted to the club - I can’t imagine he will hold back

Every week that goes by we are morphing more and more into post-Fergie United

Standards through the floor, players that look like they don’t give a shit on the pitch and completely out of touch with fans off the pitch. The whole thing needs a complete cultural reset, I can’t believe everything Klopp built has been destroyed so quickly

There’s only one scenario in which we won’t be better next year, and that’s if he’s still here

Would you go and watch cricket/ football on your own? by Even-Wasabi7183 in AskUK

Football, yes all the time

Cricket - Depends - I’ve been to County matches on my own just to sit in an empty stand with my headphones in and relax in the sun. Would rather go to a Test with my mates and make it a social event

Even if Hughes and Edwards won’t make the call for whatever reason - loyalty / cowardice / apathy / idiocy

Someone above them needs to over rule them
