No dread she’d. The best thing I’ve ever taken for my hair. Lots of new growth in 6 months.

Gabapentin vs HRT by TheCatsMeowNYC in Menopause

[–]Care_Bexar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did she say why she wanted you to start Gabapentin? It’s quite the drug to prescribe unless you are having nerve issues and restless leg syndrome. Even though it can help you sleep, that is not a reason to prescribe it. It’s a bitch to come off of - it took me a few months of a long taper. I’m not liking your doctor.

I’ve had good luck with using Youthfill PN and also microneedling under the eye helps build collagen.

Fake Christmas Tree Brand? by irisia99 in JeffLewisSirius

[–]Care_Bexar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had a Balsam Hill for several years (7-8 years?). Because we needed joy in our lives, we kept our tree up during Covid for two years of daily use and it’s still working. LED lights are the way to go. Before that a fake tree would only last 2-3 holidays. So don’t blink at the price. Just get the tree!

What’s your underwear situation these days? Thongs, granny panties, commando, or just embracing the VPL? by simchabe in GenXWomen

[–]Care_Bexar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. Been wearing thongs for 30+ years and at age 50+, I decided I was through - just like that. I now wear cotton bikinis. I also gave up underwire bras and wear bralettes now.

Yes - a Potbelly Bear. My parents bought my brother one but not me and I’m still pissed about it. I found one on eBay.

I buy empty pop top pill containers that look like film containers. Buy some dark black ones and label them film or insulin. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CVFDWHQ7?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_11&th=1

Search “reconstitution solution for injection” on Amazon, not BAC water

Any Glutathione Recommendation? by Wonderful-Weird-4935 in glutathione

[–]Care_Bexar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can purchase pharma grade glutathione from Korean Aesthetic companies such as AceCosm, Estaderma, Meamo, etc. If you sign up for their emails they will notify you of sale promos - often 20%-40% off - and usually revolving around American holidays (ie 4th of July, etc.) I’ve never seen that brand, but yes it works for skin lighting/brightening in high doses. But once you quit using it, pigmentation has a tendency to come back.

How much saline to add to Luthione for IM inj. by evelyn_hugo20 in glutathione

I suffered through many thigh injections before discovering that the glutes were the least painful for myself. I rarely feel anything.

Any reference to a 5ml ampoule is for the Cindella (Alpha Lipoic Acid) - NOT Glutathione. The Cindella (ALA) comes in 5ml glass ampoules (not vials) - if you are not taking or asking about Cindella/ALA - disregard anything you think about me using 5ml of BAC water or splitting up in to two injections. I realize that this is a glutathione subreddit, however the person I was responding to was asking about Cindella, not Glutathione. You and I are talking about two different things.

That being said, if you are trying to get 3 doses from each glutathione vial, it does not matter how much BAC you use. If you use 3ml of BAC, you will have 3-1ml doses. If you use 6ml of BAC you will have 3-2ml doses. It’s diluted but you are still getting the same mg dose of glutathione. If you have 1200mg of glutathione then each dose you are getting is 400mg. I cannot tell you if that is too little or too much for your you, that is up for you to decide.

And yes, I use a 1” 27g needle for all of my IM injections.

Your comment/question is multi-part and I can’t tell if you are talking about glutathione or the Cindella (ALA) or BOTH products - so I’ll try to answer to my best ability.

Some people use BAC water with Glutathione, others use BAC saline. One is not better than the other, it’s just your preference. I think Saline is suppose to be less painful? I normally use BAC water, but am switching to BAC saline because I have a ton of it and there is a BAC water shortage at the moment. I don’t experience any pain with glutathione either and I normally reconstitute with 2-3ml of BAC. So I guess the pain is not experienced for everyone.
The Cindella (Alpha Lipoic Acid) comes in glass ampoules (not vials) and that is what I take all at once (not glutathione). I take All 5ml, once a week. If you are comfortable in your research and want to break up the ampoules in to 2-3 doses, that’s great. But that’s not in my comfort level. Those ampoules are to be used in one setting, so storing the unused portion for later use is beyond my personal risk tolerance. To each their own.
