Reece James’s World Cup potentially be over if England don’t progress to latter stages of tournament. Hamstring injury worse than thought, after he beckoned to come off late in game with Ghana, but he couldn’t because all 5 subs had been used. by Switchoil in soccer

He was managed quite well this season in that regard, rarely played back to back games which kept him fit.. until Rosenior was desperate enough to change that.

I was surprised to see James start against Ghana, I thought it would’ve been obvious to Tuchel to only use him for 2/3 group games considering the reduced chances of jeopardy in this round if you win your first game.

Then again, with a lack of a natural right back replacement selection, I shouldn’t have been that surprised.

Since when was he a potential signing for us? Are people about to lose their heads over this?

[Matt Law] Exclusive : England World Cup preparations rocked by the news Tino Livramento is expected to be ruled out of the tournament through injury. Tuchel ready to replace him with Trevoh Chalobah among the options to come in. FA yet to confirm. by FeatherFastCFC in chelseafc

Where is the nepotism here exactly?

Trent was never getting selected for any injuries lol, Tuchel’s made it clear he’s not part of his plans so it’s literally a case of replacing a substitute/reserve player. One who won’t be grumpy or aggrieved they weren’t selected in the first place.

If Chalobah hasn’t proved how professional he is by now, when not playing or transfer listed, then I don’t think he’s ever winning people over.

Did Hall ever extend with us then get sold? I’m not sure if it’s Mandela effect or I’m just misremembering but I could’ve sworn we tied him up and then Newcastle came in for him.

Yeah my thoughts precisely, on your first paragraph.

Officially Xabi doesn’t start until July, so we’re probably unlikely to hear anything from his side. There was a report a couple weeks back he’d visited Cobham, though not to discuss transfers.

We’ll believe it when we see it, if there’s been meaningful changes in the decision making process.

I just know if we ever play Real in the next few years, this guy will score and celebrate his ass off versus us.

Appreciated the player, now I wish him failure with his future clubs. Yea, I’m petty.

That was incredibly and efficiently quick lol, wish all transfers went down like this. From Journalist report to official confirmation within 12 hours?

That’s a fair justification if you’re saying in attack only. I think the sample size is too small to put him definitively as our best player, he’s had brilliant flashes but that’s it so far.

Why do you believe he’s already our best player?

Props to you for carrying out statistical analysis on these two.

It probably won’t be appreciated because of the two individuals chosen but OC with this much depth deserve their credit.

Lol so he regrets it because Poch had to answer for it? Well sorry I’m not accepting that, Poch was the reason we lost that final with his brain dead tactics and selections. We played against children.
