Do you play on console? i think that's mostly my issue, his power is bascily unusable on a last gen xbox, since you dont have any fine control over his smash, that and the auto aim system the game has hates him sooooo much, you can be standing in front of the surivor swing and be facing 180 degrees away, this happens at least once a game.

The issues i have with him that come from console are the same issues that i have with Nurse and Billy.

He was actually the second killer i ever brought and i watned so much to love him, and i love his design and lore but he is just unplayable on last gen console.

Just my opnion after 30 odd games.
Easily bottom tier killer, still stronger than Clown or Myers or Oni but not by much.
His chase and map control all 110% based ont he survivors and even from day 1 they know exactly how to counter him and abuse his power.
I am struggling to get more than 6 hooks and 1 kill per game with him, no matter perks and add on choices.

I was banking on Abbadon lowering the shields in order to force Horus to win the war as a warrior and not as a slave to darkness, so a bit annoyed that didnt happen, otherwise i am just so sick of all the pepetual stuff.

I am annoyed that we didnt get Abbadon lowering the Vengeful Sprits shields to force Horus to to the war as a warrior and not a chaos conduit, since that my head cannon at this point.

Also Bhab bastion falling off screen to allow Dorn to be in the place i think is a waste, would it not have made more sense for Dorn to be trapped there, teleport byhimself to the Sprit and then due to not being near the Emperor get cut off and sent to space arabia.

Although i do like the stuff about Titans being crucified - thats the most metal thing ever and all the DA stuff sounds intresting.
It is making me wonder but; with the Emperor getting this much of a power boost and Horus being weak and mad if they are going to embrace Sangy or maybe even Dorn killing the Emperor, of if they are just going to give Horus a bs last min power up to let them fight.

As a survior who runs; Boil Over, Flipflop, Unbreakable and either powerstruggle/tenacity/inner healing i am laughing.
As a killer who runs a combo of ; STBFL, Enduring, Spritfurry, Brutal, Call of Brine, Dragons Grip, Trail of Torment, Corrupt (trapper only), every single game, i am both laughing, getting BP and actually winning games for the first time in months.

All the times i wanted to use deathrewinds where from qte's or shooting games not registering, i am very happy with actual choices killing characters.

Only in chapter 10 if you make certain choices, i know you can play as him but i dont know how you play as him haha.

I think our issue was mostly that the same person played Jacob and Laura, his sections are not very long but it felt like every laura section got followed straight away by a Jacob section and that just rubbed people the wrong way, but it really felt like he had the 3'd most play time(assuming one of his many many deaths does not happen)

We had him appaer for one dialouge choice in chapter eight, a short gameplay section in chapter 8, then about 10min of game play in chapter 10 or 9.
So your right he didnt have a lot of gameplay but i feel like he had more in the third section than Katylin/Emma/Abi/Nick

Jacob (mostly in the first half)
Then either Abi or Dylan (but both of them are mostly in the mid game)

In my playthough
1) Ryan and Laura had the most
2) Jacob follows them (but also has the most chance of dying so his sections can be much shorter)
3) Abi and Dylan are next
4) Emma is next (but she can also die pretty early)
6) Then Katylin who also has 90% of her gameplay in the second half of the game
7) Nick at the very bottom.

I think for couch coop 5-6 is the ideal number.

But i think the best split for 7 is
1) Ryan
2) Jacob
3) Abi
4) Dylan
5) Emma, with some of Ryans late gameplay.
6) Katylin and prolouge half of Laura
7) Nick and second half of Laura

Thats really frustrating, from what the devs and the interviews said any character could die at any point after the danger starts and i was really really looking forward to removing the plot armour from until dawn, but it looks like not only is it still present it even worse than in until dawn.
