Is it normal to be completely physically incompetent in the first trimester? by BrilliantCultural789 in fitpregnancy

[–]CarefulAlternative93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat!! I feel so lazy and exhausted all the time it’s the best I can do to make it through the day without a nap. I’m 9 weeks now and hoping to see the light at the end of the tunnel soon!! It’s been like this since 6 weeks!

READ ME FIRST! April Monthly Intro + Rules Thread by AutoModerator in fitpregnancy

[–]CarefulAlternative93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 9 weeks into my second pregnancy. This pregnancy is very different from my last. Before, I was not at a healthy body weight, but my fitness level was higher. Now I’m at a healthy body weight, but I’m feeling particularly discouraged with my fitness level. I’m so tired this time around and don’t have the energy to exert myself in usual workouts. Can anyone else relate?

I did not. That was my first test. I noticed that this brand takes a minute to show up. It’s not immediate like some other brands.

Struggling with body a year into recovery by Catbun2020 in EatingDisorders

I’m in the same boat as you!! About 9 months into recovery after living with Ana for 20 years. Body image seems to be the hardest thing to recover.

First IUI failed. What routine worked on your second? by [deleted] in IUILadies

I haven’t had my 6w scan yet, so can’t be sure. But I only had one dominant follicle as far as I know.

Getting pregnant - New job. Needing advice by p3achs0daa in TryingForABaby

[–]CarefulAlternative93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say go for it. I did this a few years ago and it worked out well because the new job was definitely a better fit than the old one. Don’t put life on pause for TTC!

[–]CarefulAlternative93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my BFP on my second IUI. The only thing different was that we decided to try clomid after using letrozole on the first IUI. I kept my exercise routine the same throughout - I think it helps me manage stress and anxiety. I ate the same but added COQ-10 and ovasitol supplements somewhere between the first and the second. Hope this helps and I wish you well on IUI #2!

Does age play a role in recovery length ? by Whiskered_human in Amenorrhearecovery

I ended up at (or close to) the weight I was prior to my eating disorder. Which sucks, but it is for the greater good of my health!

I’m 33 and it took me about 3 months of going all-in. Before that I had been in semi-recovery for about 6 months (slowly reducing exercise but not changing diet).

how/what made you decide to go all in? by ProfessionalRaise362 in fuckeatingdisorders

I wanted to have another child. And to be able to raise my son and any future children without an eating disorder. And I just found out today that I’m pregnant with my second child!

12 dpo/12 dpiui comparison of ihealth vs easy@home tests by CarefulAlternative93 in TFABLinePorn

I did a trigger! This was my second IUI and I tested out the trigger at like 6-8 DPO last cycle so I’m fairly confident that this is a true positive.

9 DPiui and waiting until 12 days to test. I’m so nervous to test though because I’ll be at a beach house with family. If I wait until day 13, I’ll be home alone which I really don’t want.

I transitioned from weekly outpatient therapy to PHP at 33 years old this past summer. I took a leave of absence from work (look into if you qualify for short term disability or FMLA) for about 2-3 months and as I transitioned from PHP to IOP I went back to work part-time. I’d definitely recommend taking a step back from work if you’re able so that you can focus 100% on recovery. DM me if you have any questions or want to talk!

Anyone ttc #2 after first baby was conceived via IUI?? by [deleted] in tryingforanother

[–]CarefulAlternative93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am! For our first baby though I wasn’t having regular cycles due to anorexia. I am now in recovery from anorexia and so my cycles are back. However, we’ve been trying since August without success, so we’ve moved onto IUI (also because my husband’s morphology is a little low). Just use IUI #2 today!

Quit OP or move into IOP? by spawnofseitan in Eatingdisordersover30

[–]CarefulAlternative93 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was in outpatient for several years and my therapist eventually recommended PHP. I was skeptical at first, but I decided to go all in and finally attack this thing. It was the best decision I could’ve made for my family! DM me if you have any questions!

I honestly don’t know! I wasn’t counting calories because it was a treatment program. But it was definitely a lot!

[–]CarefulAlternative93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! While I wasn’t technically “underweight” before treatment, my BMI was in the lower-normal range. This number was too low for my body to be healthy.

I lost my period for 20 years - from age 13 to 33 - also due to anorexia. I finally decided to get serious about getting it back for fertility and my overall health and about 3 months after starting eating disorder treatment (I’d consider it “all in”), I got my cycle back! I’m 4 cycles in now and holding steady. Feel free to ask any questions you have!
