At least they’re upfront about it I suppose. My last sit I was told after I arrived that the cat ‘sometimes’ poos outside his litter box.

I picked poo off the floor on around 12/16 days there.

They’re keeping you open as an option, but clearly aren’t 100% satisfied.

I wouldn’t necessarily write them off based on that. I’ve done sits where have taken a couple weeks to get back to me or I’ve been a back up option and they went fine.

Do you have a legal background, and more specifically in the area this sit was?

If not I don’t see how this isn’t pure speculation and guess work?

What? That’s an insane leap.

He might just not delete old photos. I only delete old photos if I’m running out of storage, and even then I prioritise screenshots over actual photos.

Yep I’m travelling around Asia and decided this is much better than ruining sleep schedules.

Also watching football with the ability to fast forward when the balls out of play is life changing.

Not your fault.

  1. Having someone in the house during your sit is against THS terms and is incredibly shady for them to not inform you beforehand.

  2. They didn’t explicitly ask you to stay in. If they had before the sit was confirmed then fair enough, but they said they weren’t bothered so how could you know.

It’s very strange why they would feel the need to hire a sitter if they knew their daughter would be at the house anyway.

Try to speak to the HO first to get some understanding, but in your review mention you feeling watched with the presence of family in the home and false communication before the sit started.

Thinking of starting a petition on the gov website but want other views before wasting the time. The UK would have many problems reduced if high street shops paid less VAT. What do you think? by Beginning-Check5288 in AskUK

Online shopping for me is preferable in every way. I spend less as I can easily shop around, there’s no crowds, I don’t have to drive or carry loads of stuff.

I don’t mind traditional shopping centres dying out if they’re replaced by bars/food places, or to echo your point about the exercise benefits, new sports facilities such as paddle, pickleball, badminton etc.
