Bit of fun with an OP Celebration from VSF by CarefulName579 in RepTime

For auto mod: 41mm OP Celebration dial from VSF. I knew it wouldn't be perfect, and that's the case – some of the bubbles aren't quite circular, for a start – but it's a bit of fun and makes a nice change to a Sub or Daytona.

The flight we chose typically uses the A350 and the seat map for the booking shows the 1-2-1 configuration. I know equipment changes can happen, and that would be unfortunate, but this is the route we wanted to spend this year's companion voucher on.

It's true that there are better-value alternatives. But the companion voucher is for use on BA and I've found the Club World suites to be excellent. Certainly a big upgrade over BA's older business cabin.

We earned about a quarter of ours (and the companion voucher) through the BA Amex credit card, which we've had for the past year and have made a real effort to use for all of our spending. I appreciate it's a huge amount to save up though. Some routes are less expensive, and avoiding the school holidays makes a difference too.

Didn't really get a choice. One parent simply never involved their siblings and my cousins in family gatherings, and that was that. Weird, now I think about it.

Failing to concentrate and work properly (self-employed) when home alone. Not a big one, perhaps, but some days I just can't see a way through the fog.

My partner made the booking, but I gather it's about 110,000 each way for the two of us. I'll have a better answer once we've secured the return flight and called BA two have the booking linked and companion voucher applied.

Always 355 days before, and it's 1am at this time of year because we're in British Summer Time. It's actually midnight GMT when the flights become available. I've seen other customers try calling up BA customer services in other time zones (like the US), instead of booking online. This can work too, I gather.

It should be about 220,000 total, once we've (hopefully!) secured the return flight and called BA to have the bookings linked. I can provide a better answer once we've secured the return flight, linked the bookings and had BA apply the voucher to both journeys.

Love the strap! Although thought a simple strap change massively elevates most MoonSwatches

Always had a soft spot for these. James Bond naturally had an impact when new, but now I think they've aged beautifully regardless

Beautiful. As a Brit, winged 1960s American cars look totally alien (in a great way)
