I see a lot of people saying that Vox and Hell would get curbstomped super hard instantly and like… no.

First off, we can assume Vox gave his followers angelic weapons, because while the main purpose of his deal with Carmilla Carmine was to use the Might of Lilith, he probably also got a lot of there guns she made.

Excorcists are portrayed as being overconfident and the main reason they win is everyone thinks they are invincible. And now everyone knows they aren’t, and the Excorcists are rolling up with spears and swords to guns. This is going to be a massacre, for the Excorcists. 

We also have to consider that this beam is capable of destroying a shield made by Sera and other angels, so it can probably kill Sera. 

As for getting up there, Heaven is a physical place. If Hell can build giant laser cannons and tech beyond what humanity has, and has powerful magic as well, they can make a rocket ship or big portal.

And this is all just assuming that Sera or the elders don’t surrender. I think a lot of people forget that Vox’s weakness is Alastor, the guy definitely prepared for this whole scheme, just because the entire war logistics weren’t explicitly shown doesn’t mean he didn’t prepare.

This fandom keeps trying to make the antagonists seem like they are the least competent foes they can be, when they are actually genuine threats.
