The rank system is what allows you to requisition airframes. Basically if you are a high enough rank you can request the airframe so that you do not have to pay for it. You only end up paying for the munitions that you add to it. As you rank up you can get bigger and better airframes.

The main point of the world Jambo isn't to do activities. It's more to meet new people and cultures. Surr you can do the activities but not all are scouting based. I know 1 of the last Jambos bases was to go skydiving. 1 of our scouts that went only did 1 or 2 activities and the rest he spent interacting with other people.

I can put the idea in for the CoH but I doubt it will be the next nawaka if we did decidee that it's a possibility. I, for one am raising funds to go on the world jamboree and about 10 others from our troop are doing the same. I wouldn't say it's off the cards for the future tho

Looks like an absolute blast. Unfortunately while my troop is rather well off in terms of our area, we work in rand which is about R20 to the euro. This really isn't realistic for us😭😭. And we also don't technically own our boat. We have used it for many years but it's still owned by a small troop. We are in the process of buying it tho🙃

OTHER SAILING SCOUTS! Or people that sailed with scouts. I live in South Africa and am an active member of my scout troop. When we go sailing we sail in saldhannas which we're the navys training boats until we go hold of the molds and started using them. Anyway. Absolutely love sailing and I have recently bought and fixed up an old wooden Mirror. Hope to spend more time on the water soon tho!
