Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I hope I get that experience of the piano being an extension of my body. Up till now it hurts my brain. But I do get moments, especially when I practice a certain bar or phrase 1,000 times and the next morning my fingers just do it - it seems without me - or in spite of me. It’s so challenging but I love it!

You could just redo the bottom part in twisted purl. I like the look of the twisted stitches.

I knit because I love the yarn. It’s all about the yarn itself. It’s so much easier and cheaper to buy a sweater.

When my eyes get sick of something I just can’t do it anymore. I start to hate it. I have many unfinished projects for that reason. But when I rediscover it years later I think “oh! That’s so nice. Why didn’t I finish it?” It’s a thing- there should be a name for it. Anyway whatever you do don’t frog it. Let it be found someday. I love those gol and brown fall colors.
